I Wanna Be The Guy boss rush - no deaths

A new version of IWBTG was released recently, and after beating it you unlock the boss rush. Here is a recording of my first time beating it.

I fast-forwarded through boring parts (including the Bowser and Wart segments) in order to make it fit within the ten minute time limit.

Um... enjoy. And don't mind the fact that it says I beat it in 7:42, but that doesn't count all the lag.

@Th3R3M1nd3r now you're just putting words in my mouth, no that's not what i meant. real players don't pretend that they did it perfectly, they own their achievements legitimately. like cloud and myself we don't go around saying it only took us a certain number of tries. so back off you hack coz they do

@aaron75fy You mean, real players have to miraculously memorize all of the patterns in one run? He probably reset and attempted to memorize each pattern one by one. Your "real players" are people who've never attempted to do professional speed runs.

I rarely see anyone point out how many failed attempts they had. Once in a while, yes, but you have to specifically track how many times you reset, and the only reason anyone would do that is because they know going into it that it's going to be terrible and want it as an extra tidbit to show people how hard it was. I don't think this took me any more than around 20 attempts, and certainly didn't think it would be relevant.

I still don't get what I'm being dishonest about. Resetting the game isn't being dishonest in any way. If the point of this video was to show my first time ever trying it, then I'd show the deaths. I see no reason to show them otherwise. When you look up a time attack for something (let's say Break the Targets in SSB), do they include the hundreds of failures that preceded the best time?
