Michael (Maurice Winsell) and Cody (Skyler Simpson) are just like your average brothers. They live in a nice house, share a cramped bedroom, and fight about everything. In fact, the only thing that's not ordinary is, outside, the zombie apocalypse is raging on.
Together with their father Neil (Scott Hilley) and close friend Dell (Jon Poullard), the brothers must face a whole new world of uncertainty when a mysterious woman (AC Smallwood) is thrust into their midst.
This independent film, shot in and around Atlanta, Georgia, is the culmination of hundreds of hours of hard work by nearly a hundred volunteers. Directed by Ben Lambeth and produced by Jesse Stommel & Julie Champion, "Zombie Proof" is a zombie-comedy with heart, as well as blood. Lots of blood.
