This was John's farewell flight before leaving on 4(!) tours of Iraq. He is home now and safe! The Super Tomahawk was powered by a central N2000, 2 K700, 2 K550, 2 J350. If you watch closely you can see the airstart pairs one after another. It reached 12,357 and landed on its tail - standing up! 19 January 2003

  • This is the BFR launch from 2003. One week before my first of four deployments to Iraq. The rocket was launched again after returning later in 2003. This could and would not have been accomplished without the help from the DART and San Diego Tripoli group.

  • Nice use of the airstarts to make it look like a really long burn.
