I discuss Jung's concept of the shadow, it's relationship to the movie, Pleasantville, and my thoughts about why independent study is superior to formal study in some contexts.
Say, if you're interested in Jung and the concept of shadows you might like the third and fourth Persona games (especially the fourth) since they do go quite a bit into it (where Shadows are actual living entities).
Also the people gaining their color is because they have their eyes opened to what was once forbidden. They get color from receiving and being opened to knowledge.
The black/white represents having their eyes closed and when their eyes are opened that's the representation of color.
Recognizing your shadow and integrating it into your Ego, is another good way to more fully realize the message.
Thanks for the recommendation. I never whore myself out for views. I could increase viewership dramatically by making my videos flashier, which takes too much time. And starting intellectual drama battles with other youtubers is a sure way to get views. I prefer to keep my stuff obscure and have people find it like hidden treasure. (although I doubt it's that good.)
P.S. Listen to Tool if you don't already. Maynard James Keenan is heavily involved in the shadow and is probably one of the most intelligent minds in music right now.

Check out the song "Forty six and Two" by Tool. That song, is about the shadow. It projects, the singer's outlook on life.
There is a video on here about that one song. Check it. thanks

Psychoanalysis is generally bullshit. Unscientific.
