After arriving in Kenya, I went to the opening ceremonies with Peter Cleary (Vestergaard Frandsen). Peter explains that this campaign is going to be the single largest privately funded global health campaign in the world.
Over 45,000 people were going to be (and now have) been tested for HIV. Those arriving have received supplies such as long lasting insecticide treated mosquito nets, water purification equipment, condoms, and much more.
Halfway through this footage, I slammed my head against a metal railing at the side of the bus. Oh the beatings I take in service to this project... ;-)
Oh, and the guy with the huge camera near the end was the cameraman for the CNN reporter covering this event.
