Forza 4 - Faulty Head Tracking Message

Forza's 4 headtracking with Kinect works surprisingly well. What doesnt work is the stupid, giant 'Re-center head' message that always pops up.

As you can see from the video the head tracking is working the whole time, but yet the message pops up repeatedly and rapidly. During racing this can become quite obnoxious.

Everything is calibrated correctly. Kinect is mounted above TV about 6 feet off the floor. I'm seated about 6 feet from the TV. Plenty of light. I'm centered in a racing seat and the only movement is a slight head turn and lean, which the Kinect picks up very well. The only problem is the 'Re-Center head" message. It is way to sensitive. My conditions are never changing but sometimes it doesnt come up at all, next race it will come up very rapidly. Doesnt make sense and is frustrating.

Turn 10: Please lower the sensitivity of this message. Also change the size and location of it. It is way to big and covers about an 1/8th of the lower screen.

can you increase the 'clip background' slider any more? there appears to be a larg object to your right when you are playing. This could be confusing the Kinect, causing it to think a person is there too. I've noticed that when my kids stand next to me while I play that I get the "recenter" message.

Thanks for the reply. The clipping is at the only place it can be set. Any forward and it wont see me, any back and it gets confused with the chair. That large thing you see to the right is the coffee table. I'll try moving that our of the way to see if it helps any. Thanks.

I wish there was some way to turn off the pop up message. Even when the message comes up, the head tracking still works so it's annoying.

Seems that the only way to not make it come up is if you play using a chair with a really straight back to it (lol)
