@jahukle I have three Otrofon's - it is very easy to replace the stylus on them. You simply need to just gently pull forward on the plastic housing near the front end of the cartridge where the stylus is. After a slight "click" the housing slides off easily and a new stylus can be slid on. The OM20 stylus is least expensive but still high quality. The OM30 & OM40 are more expensive, $200-$300. A good cart for about $60-$80 is the Shure M97X. It has a stabilizing dust brush. Check eBay.

Dude, the cartridge you mentioned, the Ortofon OM20, OM30, or the OM40 is a MUCH better catridge than the Stanton you have mounted on this Dual turntable here. If this turntable came with any one of those, you made a mistake in replacing it with this Stanton/Pickering. Even if the Ortofon needed a new stylus, you would have been better off getting one for it rather than replacing it with the Stanton.

@TwinMillMC Yea I know...Problem is you just can't replace the stylus yourself.It has to be replaced by a professional.From what I have heard it is expensive.To top it off I have a friend who thought he could fix it and I believe he destroyed the cartridge...Made me sick...But I only paid $50 for the TT and the stanton does not come close to the ortofon but it doesn't sound that bad either.Do you have any suggestions on a cart under $100?John...

Nice I thought they stopped making record players way back in the mid too early 80's because of the cheap casset radio players and after that CD players poping up in the 90's I guess they made turn tables in the 90's. I have a 8 track with a turn table 2 of them one made in 1970 other 1978.

@1968DodgePolara
I don't believe they stopped making turntables,Just did not make many.More are being made because vinyl is making a come back.I like the older turntables from the late 50s,60s and 70s.My dream is to own a Thorens Td 124...Thanks for viewing my video.I have more on the way.
