Mine doesn't have magnets on the lightsaber, it has 2 plastic pieces you must remove and insert a dual male adapter.

Mine also doesn't speak all 3 phrase, it just say's yes my master.

It's great though I bought it for my son without thinking so I placed it out of reach until he's older.

you will find a switch on his body which you need to flick to make him say all the phrases. I think its on his side?

I have a sideshow maul, got it on ebay about $90. Amazon has diamond select for $77...so...

I bought mine at Toy R Us in the U.S. and it didn't have magnets in the lightsabers. Instead, it came with a little coupler piece that barely holds the sabers together.
