The STYLO fashion festival brought spell-binding trends and non-stop excitement to Kuala Lumpur with throughout 30 March to 5 April 2009. STAGE Cosmetics was proud to partner STYLO International as the makeup provider for ALL day and night shows throughout the festival.
The highlight of the festival for STAGE Cosmetics is the Couture Evening presented by VISA International on 1 April 09 where The Breathing Palette was presented in which the human form becomes the canvas for the intricate artistic designs by international body-artistes.
The The Breathing Palette is a presentation of colors, music and dance, created by STAGE Cosmetics in collaboration with talented Filipino artistes and choreographed by Benjamin Xavier, Malaysias own homegrown dance maestro extraordinaire.
This extraordinary performance showcases models and dancers draped in body paint and artistic sculptures which depicts the lush beauty of the tropics. Leading the team was Jennie Delica, a London certified and trained specialist with experience in special effects, body art, airbrushing, high-definition makeup for film, commercials, theater and photographic purposes.
We are excited to be called on by Stage Cosmetics. The night will be an energetic night. The Breathing Palettes concept is an artists dream come true. We get to challenge our creativity and showcase our craft. It is not often that we get to do work for purely arts sake and this is one of those rare moments.
