2 Week Old Shih Tzu Puppies Napping

Here they are at 2 weeks! As you can see the pups are much bigger. You may notice some of the pups jerking and twitching while they sleep. That is a good thing! It is important that puppies do this, it indicates healthy puppies! One reason puppies do this is to strenthen their legs and indicates healthy neural development. As the pups get older this will slowly decrease :) The pups eyes are now open, although you don't see it in this video because they are sleeping. At this age, all the puppies are still just nursing and sleeping.
