hey, what's up with all those goofy roostertails you make in the river with your line?

@saltire546 It all depends on the line you're using...any short bellied line is going to require some line to be stripped in prior to casting.

Instead of pulling loads of line back every time in just lift the lot in one go and cast easy peasy

The Thompson R has the most difficult wading of any river I've ever waded, bar none. Is like tap dancing on pile of greased bowling balls.

it's not about looks, especially on those greasy rocks, my last trip up saw me falling in the river more than enough in blizzard conditions. I'll have a staff for next time!
