Ha ha, yeah I occasionally go on spotify and have a 'favorite jazz musican' session. And when I came (again) to Pat I was like 'what was that song? That ONE song, you know - how does it go - what was the name? And I had to search again and again and then I found it - Half Life of Absolution - motherfucker, how elegant is that melody?! And then both Pat and Lyle solo the shit out of it (Pat does in the 'road to you' ablum version) - sick!!!!

Why has this video got over 3500 plays? Because I personally played it 3000 times - and everytime I hear it - I get chills. One of the best of all the songbook.
