    Uh, Radiohead is a great band, one of my favorites of all time. So is Talking Heads, but comparing the two is a bit silly, because they sound nothing alike. Thom Yorke is obviously a huge TH fan, but I agree with you that there is hardly any TH influence to be heard in their music.

    They both have/had a very unique sound.

    Talking Heads is awesome but Radiohead deserves the same merit. You cannot compare Green Day with Radiohead, it is a terrible insult.

    I think what makes Radiohead (and actually Talking Heads too) so great is that they have a lot of very distinct influences, but in the songs it's not actually that clear. They are definitely very very influenced by certain aspects of Talking Heads, but they really don't sound too alike at all, because of how well the songs are written
