I'm not sure what kind of program he used but if you wanna start 3D you can use "Blender" ...it's an open source software so you can find it for free on google and youtube has lots of tutorials about how tu use this program...modelling,texturing,
rigging,rendering,etc... -
Just wondering what modeling and texture program did u use. Then also what animation program also did u use just curious always wanted to do this stuff for my own entertainment.

If slow rendering, look up Dyne:Bolic - and easily build a rendering cluster.
