Tens of thousands of Australians joined Walk Against Warming events around Australia on Sunday, calling on our federal political leaders to 'walk with the people, not the big polluters'.
A variety of events, including major rallies, took place in Hobart, Launceston, Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, Penrith, Port Macquarie, Willoughby, Wollongong, Canberra, Brisbane, Adelaide, Darwin, Alice Springs and Perth.
"The message from Australians across the country is clear -- we want political leaders who will act now to control pollution," said ACF Executive Director Don Henry.
