Second launch of my scratch-built model rocket, Ferret.

Length: 9 ft
Diameter: 4.5 inches
Weight: 4.4 lbs
Propellant: Cluster of four Aerotech G80-10T motors
Max altitude: 2200 ft
Max velocity: 134 mph

  • The ignition switch was flipped by an RC servo.

    The nose cone was ordered from Aerotech rockets, it's molded plastic.

  • at the metro launch in ny my parachute came off the rocket and started to drift higher and farther

  • Nice dude.I build a 7Ft rocket out of PVC. It will be powered by KNo3/sucrose Dr Rocket 38 480 Motor.
