This short educational video is to show a piece of Railroad Equipment called a Derail, or derailer, and explains a little about why you would want to intentionally derail a Train or rail car.

  • @pwalpar Your videos are awesome. I'm a railfan to. My aunt lives near the NS mainline. She lives in Douglasville, Ga. She hears them at 4:00 in the morning.

  • @pwalpar I have be there after the derailment happened. The derailment happened in the I guess the center of downtown cause I was not there to really see it. My aunt took pictures of the derailment. She even heard it derail. The cause of the derailment was a broken rail. I was surprised to have heard the first part of the train made it over. The other part not so lucky.

  • @pwalpar Biggest flaw in that movie was the brand new conductor waking up at 7:00AM to go to work...hehe
