If anyone encounters the bug where Esbern doesnt talk and open the door you can add this to the end of your Skyrim.ini. Worked for me:

I found out how to open the door if theres a bug: Stand in front of the door, press | button, write: Setstage MQ202 160

Than the door will open!

When I talk to Esbern and say "Im dragonborn" and all that stuff, he doesn't open the door for me? This is really annoying so if anyone could help me, PLEASE HELP!

My door wont open! and when Esbern talks to me there is no sound from him and the text goes really fast. And when he says "just a minute" I wait for an eternity, and I can't press "E" to open either ... I was so damn close to finish this quest and now I am stuck because of a shitty glitch!
