  • Did you have to spend for a PLC on that, couldent you have just used a timed relay, it would have been much cheaper.

  • Yes this could be done with a plain Timing Relay. At some point, the price of these micro PLCs is so low that it's not even worth looking at timing relays.

    ie. EBay about $40! Plus the PLC is alot more fun.

  • I dont think so a simple module perhaps $40.00 a cable $25 at least plus the software,the reality is that is very fun if you have one available

  • a plc in you garage, all this to turn on a input from a prox, which turns on light, wired from the plc's output point, which then uses the plc's retentive timer's NOT (N.C.) logic ?
