Thomas Mulcair, the second most powerful figure in the NDP, says that he doesn't believe the Whitehouse when it says it has photos of Osama Bin Laden's corpse.

He also implies that the shooting of Bin Laden may be illegal!

  • @JohnnyRock2000 yea he is a Zionist pig.....

  • Mulcair - Married to a Jew. NDP's most Zionist member. Condemned criticism of the invasion of GAZA AND the attack of the flotilla. A pro Zionist Israel 1st no matter what. Even sought the expulsion of a NDP member for her criticism of Israel. Seeks to criminalize criticism of Israel in Canada. All the rest is hooey. A Canadian Zionist. Bought and paid for.

  • I'm kind of a liberal i guess... but Thomas Mulcair is absolutely right. I'm suprised this issue isn't addressed more often. If the Americans killed Osama Bin Laden they would show it to the public. But no, his body just quietly gets thrown away at sea. I think it was a political tactic Obama used to score political points, but who cares! I want Obama to win another 4 years. If the Republicans win the Americans are doomed. Obama is the best chance at progressive politics that the Americans have

  • I'm not necessarily an NDP supporter but GOSH! is Evan Solomon a moron or what!

  • He'd been up for three days when he gave this interview. It was the day after the 2011 election when the NDP won 103 seats 59 in Quebec . But if that is what it takes to get a straight answer out of a poitician than so be it!

  • Breaking a Campaign promise when you had no intent of keeping is a form of deceit itself.

You are just providing excuses for a broken system.

Would you tell someone you would do something knowing that you wouldn't live up to it?

If you made a claim, you would have to back it up.

This is the basis of our legal system, judicial system and political system

Obama mada a claim, he didn't back it up.

I work with facts not HEARSAY.

Please don't equate me with the birth certificate issue.

    Thanks

  • @gundamWWW For a variety of reasons, some campaign "promises" never get implemented. Sometimes they realize it isn't practical. Other times it is not politically possible depending on the nature of the opposition. This is the nature of the game and its no different with any politician on the planet. Its silly to try to compare a campaign promise to a fundamental factual assertion.

Obama should prove himself? You mean just like the birth certificate circus right?

  • @MrEnigmapaul

Obama said a lot of things.

I could call Obama a liar and point to a LONG LIST of campaign promises that he broke.

There is no defintive proof that proves Obama has told the truth.

The onus is on a person making a claim to provide factual evidence to reinforce their claim.

This is how a democratic nation works. Mr. Muclair is a certified lawyer and is probably aware of this.

If anything, the onus is on Obama to prove himself. Not Muclair to defend himself.

  • I love it when he says Obama holding a weapon!

  • Good for him. He probably spoke the mind of many Canadians!
