Did you take it apart to paint it? I want to paint one for my girlfriend. She wants the watermelon one but I want to do a custom one like this!

yh i unscrewed it poked out the feet , i roughed up the surface with sand paper and sprayed it and the feet then did the led mod with a chrismas decoration led let it dry then put back together
(by the way i used the melt biro trick to get it undone)
