u think 300 RMS would be to much for the same sub? Im getting the power acoustic 1100 watt amp and it runs at 300 RMS at 4 ohms.

well i've never heard my bottom out or anything, but i have had practacly maxed out the surround on a few occasion. so i'd say 300rms would be good might be too much on some real low notes but whatever just watch out for em

that speaker can handle 400watt rms

the p3 can candle 600 watt rms

...so no

take that amp and wire the sub in parallel. your amp will prob put out 600watt rms, then get a multimeter and set the gains so that the speaker output is 27 no higher than 28 volts

or wire it at 4 and 300

neither will hurt the sub....unless its distorted sound

@detheridge47150 you wont need an extra upgrade to an high output alternator for alot cheaper and easier and youll be fine. just dont bump too much with it not running.

how many watts u pushing to that p2? cuz if i were to get it it i would be pushin 650 to it and i dont wanna blow it. think 650 is to much?

i don't really remember about the paint, but i know it was out of a can then sprayed on. i did a red base coat then put on vinyl rockford fosgate stickers before the final black coats. i'm pretty sure it was gelcoat but not 100% positive.

well what would you suggest then? thats a 91 loyale, thats about the only place those 6x9's can go. they won't fit in the doors or anything... are you thinking they are distorting like when you've got a sub in the trunk of a sedan and the rear speakers sound like crap cause the sub is moving them?
