I also found this video very helpful. Although I'm not quite an intermediate-level knitter, I found the explanation very understandable and the pace of it to be just fine.

You don't need to twist to prevent holes. The stranding from one st to the next is sufficient.

so when u k1 continental style and the other one is knitted american style it prevents holes on the side of the primary color???
