  • damn, if she got that beautiful from eating healthy, i gotta quit with the junk food. love how she got sexier as the tutorial went on, definetly kept me tuned in!! i'll have to re-watch it tho to get the information this time :-)

  • Thank you for the lovely comments. It is my goal to inspire people to want to eat well. I am happy that this video had an effect on you.

  • Please also note that Vitamin A & Vitamin C, when added to phytate rich foods, can block the inhibitory process of the Phytates, thereby allowing an increase in nutrient absorption. So add fruits or vegetables to grains to increase nutrients overall & increase nutrient absorption (NOTE: this is part 3 of a 3 part string of comments beginning below)

  • By having these "inhibitory" effects certain insects & animals "learn" to eat the nuts seeds & grains less often knowing that they alone will not allow them to sustain life. As with all foods, moderation is the key and variety is best. Phytate activity is reduced (but not eliminated) by cooking, soaking & sprouting. I do recommend soaking grains, nuts & seeds before consuming in order to help with the digestion & absorption. But simply cooking the grains will render some of the phytates inactive

  • well you're definitely beautiful, educated and thoughtful but may i suggest sprouted grains? the problem with whole grains is that they have large amounts of fitic acid which hinders your body from being able to absorb the minerals that they contain so it ends up being counter productive. the process of sprouting eliminates this problem.

  • Phytates are present in nuts seeds & grains & can inhibit the absorption of some minerals such as iron zinc magnesium & calcium Phytates are nonessential nutrients which have antioxidant benefits Phytates may help prevent colon cancer by blocking some of the absorption of minerals such as iron as a way to deprive the cancer cells of this essential nutrient Antioxidants such as phytates are present in plants as a way to help reduce overconsumption of that plant food in the wild

  • from 3:19 and forward = wow

  • coal train ruins on whole grain baby whoo

  • how many years will i be behind the group that eats grains that are not whole grains? 10? this is in regards to diabetes and heart disease.

  • This whole business of "whole grains" is just a fad; it makes about as much sense as re-electing Pres. Obama and it's advocated by much the same people.

This is something only left-wingers advocate in their passion to discourage America from buying products by big, corporate food processors.

  • It's cool that your video lives on. I learned a lot. Thank you.

  • haha every minute that passes she looks more sexy in your 'unconscious' mind.

  • Please switch to hi def!
