"We worked super hard on this album, at least for me it was pretty much no sleep or rest for six weeks," stated Laiho. "But we were determined to make the best COB album ever, so we were willing to do whatever it took. The first single and video from CHILDREN OF BODOM's Relentless Reckless Forever is the red-blooded new song "Was it Worth It?". COB recently shot a high energy music video for "Was it Worth It?", joining forces with two-time X Games gold medalist and two-time Thrasher Magazine "Skater of the Year" Chris Cole as well as noted pro skaters Jamie Thomas and Tom Asta (the current #1 Amateur skateboarder in the world). Filmed on location at central Pennsylvania's residential Action Sports compound Camp Woodward and directed by Dale Resteghini for Raging Nation Films (Pink Floyd, Santana, Mötley Crüe), the video was shot guerrilla style, sans treatment; honing in directly on CHILDREN OF BODOM's high-spirited fire and the skaters' eye-opening execution.

"The single 'Was It Worth It?' is a total party song", said Laiho. "It's not your typical Bodom sound, but it's one of my favorites and heavy as hell."

I love how this video is just a big collage of the best band on the fucking planet. but i hate that it revolves mostly on Alexi... dont get me wrong Alexi is a GOD but the whole band is just amazing. i was kindof mad about the voice change but then i really started to like it and i love it how Bodom changes it up every once in a while. Children Of Bodom RULE and i can't wait for the new album!

Don't get me wrong, Alexi Laiho is my favorite musician and is my influence in music, but it kinda pisses me off how everyone only acknowledges Laiho when the whole band is fucking amazing, Janne is great, Roope is pretty damn good, Henkka is a beast bassist, and Jaska is one of my favorite drummers ever

@EvolutionXvideo To be fair Alexi writes ALL of the riffs, records all the vocals, rhythm guitars and most of the leads and then tells the bassist and co what he wants them to do so its probably right that it mostly revolves around him. Alexi IS children of bodom, most of the other guys are pretty interchangeable (except in a live situation of course where they all have good chemistry).
