  • Oh and i generally only use one color, if for some rare reason I use 2 colors I usually will denote it and say bi-color on the tagging. Working in thin layer with most materials will give you several different tones of that one color.

  • Thanks, I have other videos on here that show a "how to" That vp in this video was applied a certain way for a specific look. But Im glad you liked it!

  • I went to my local Sherwin Williams store to check out their venetian plaster and it was nearly twice the price of the Valspar and Behr brands! Of these three brands is there one you can recommend over the others, or does each brand have its own particular benefit over the others.

    Thanks!

  • @sunnyallthetime Wow, the million dollar question! I will do my best to tell you some of what I know of my personal likes and dislikes of the 3 . Sherwin Williams will probably be more expensive but probably would spread far enough to balance the cost. It burnishes very easy to a super high gloss, it is not a translucent though. Valspar also shines very easily but I find it sticky and hard to manage on the tool. Behr is really an overall "best" choice, shines easily and is very user friendly

  • dude best how too video by far........but how many layers, and colors?

  • @amyreserve123 no you do not have to use a wax just before the last coat burnish your product while it is still 10% damp..almost at the dry stage. It will burnish very very easily.

  • I went by Sherwin williams today here in NC and the sales guy had said that their VP has been sitting untouched seance they got their first delivery 4 months ago. He said I was actually the first customer to even ask about the stuff. ...$62 per gallon...I asked if he would would break a gallon into quarts so I could have a four different colors for sample boards and he said no. That it would cause a variance in the intended colors. I explained I didnt care about the color being spot on..no still

  • good job
