Mr. Color , Tamiya Paint, Paint bottle Opener and How to Mr. Tools

Put the rubber sleeve around the paint bottle, and insert the opener on top of lid, then hold dthe bottle with left hand and grap the opener with your right hand and twist!, VOILA! the dried up, hard to open paint bottle opens up like it just came out of factory!

you can prevent dried paint by just keeping the cap and the top of the bottle free of paint when you close it. :)

i use warm water over the paint bottle and does the trick as well as that paint bottle opener... so i think that is wasting some money when all you have to do is put the bottle on warm water a little...xD

@noddy183 well, this tool was like $5 bucks CAD, and yes, putting in warm water or putting vaseline (lube) around the lid (inside of lid) would work too, but this is tool make the process LOT faster, less messy, AND you do not have to move from your chair. I'm not being lazy, its just that when I'm building kit, and everythig is laid open, and say I realized i need to touch up some gray parts, , I really do not want to get up and make warm water and so on... but I understand your point

when bottles get stuck like that. I dunk the bottle in hot water. very hot water. let it soak for 10 minutes. the it will open . trust me I do it with any brand of hobby paint Gunzee Sangyo Acrilic, Mr Color (Solvent based ), Tamiya Acrilic, Testers Acrilic
