Kind of an explanation:
.12-.44 Riku is starting to question everything he's believed in since he was a child
.45-1.06 Riku decides to give into the darkness and Sora tries to save him. He's been waiting for this moment to prove himself and answer some questions
1.07-1.29 Riku remembers trying to get Sora to intwine his destiny with Sora's by getting him to eat a paopu fruit
1.33-2.16 Years later, Sora and Kairi find Riku and ask him to remove his blindfold. He was trying to cover up who he was; trying to fool himself.
2.17-3.03 Riku is remembering Sora, Kairi, and his relationship 2 days before they all departed from the island. He realized that he was always trying to prove himself.
3.04-3.22 Riku remembers facing Sora when he was dark
3.25-3.36 It reminds him of how they used to watch the sunsets together on Destiny Island.
3.37-4.32 Riku recalls becoming Ansem and fighting Sora
4.33-5.17 When he was trying to become good again, he ends up at the castle (chain of memories) and has to battle an almost real-life Sora. Sora beats him :(
5.19-5.55 Riku's awaited escape has come: he is no longer dark :D hooray!!
