In 2006 and 2007, then, Senator Obama, filed legislation that would create a national DNA database. The same bill was filed by Sen. Patrick Kennedy in 2008 . The bills required parental consent, but all three died in the Senate.

@Downfurlife Hiya, when i say they have been taking blood samples for over twenty yrs or so is because the nurses take my babies blood doing the heel prick so yes that can be proved as my children are over 25 yrs old. I dont know what they do with the blood sample as back then i just trusted them like all new mothers.
