Nate Bowers,of Bowers Farm, Fort Collins, CO, doing some horse exercising on a snowy day in Colorado. This activity involves the high speed fun of driving a horse while skiing along behind!
@reiningdiva im wondering the same thing, but it looks like hes holding the traces and lines in his hand.. i dont think im coordinated enough to do that.. lol but with dogs they make a special harness for your waste that the dogs pull you from
Are you holding on to the traces in one hand and the lines in the other? I'm going to work on my horse's foundation a bit more before I attempt this! I love this video, thank you for posting it! :-)
I'm not sure why anyone would ever do this with a horse instead of dogs but I suppose if that's all you have then go for it. Skijoring is infinatly easy with a good sled dog though. A simple belt harness and towline are all you need and it can be done with as litle as one dog.
Love it Nate!

A little disjointed with the assorted music but horse looks a lot like my spotted draft baby and I can't wait to try this with her!
