Resident Evil 4 - Screwing with the El Gigante Glitch

Screwing around with the El Gigante glitch in Resident Evil 4. Got to the next area and came back to see the giants still waiting! When shot, they didn't respond until taking enough hits for the plagas to become exposed. Upon climbing him at that point, the game threw the both of us back in the boss fight area.

The gamecube version of RE4 made Leon faster than the PS2 version for some reason...

@MidnightSting I was using a separate glitch that makes him run faster, when you equip the striker shotgun and then go right to the weapons menu, then return to the game, he runs way faster until firing, entering a new area, etc

why are you running faster than usual? and why do you climb up the stairs faster than usual?

@maxchamullento The video is about what happens when you play with the striker glitch in that area. If you equip the striker shotgun then go to the weapon menu again right away and select a new weapon, you can run 1.5 times faster. It lasts until an enemy hits you or you open a door or see a cutscene. That's how he climbs up the stairs faster and slides outside of the level

@kinglaffo Oh yeah I'm aware of that, but that's not doing the entire game knife-only. ;)

@F7HFL Just search "resident evil 4 knife run" - people have played through completing as much as possible with just the knife.

@kinglaffo Nobody has done the whole game knife-only, that is impossible. For example, how could you do the dragon room using just the knife? You couldn't.
