I have never noticed but do shito ryu karateka kiai during kata? i mean i'm sure i have seen them kiai during kata but in this video the karateka does not.

@LeGrosWinnie yeah true. I train now 5 days a week, totally 8-10 hours. and I grade twice a year :P I believe in quality. I take the japanese point of view, perfectionism and take karate to your heart, not as a sport :P
My teacher is Sensei K Langballe (5 dan), student of Sensei Jon Wicks (8 dan, World Chief Instructor of WIKF), student of Sensei T Suzuki (8 dan, Founder of WIKF), student of Sensei O Hironori (10 dan, Founder of Wado Ryu)

@plowenson I take a belt each 6 months, and it's already fast.
You can't really be serious if you think you are good enough to change belt every 6 month (2 lessons of 1 hour a week). I think these days karate is more a sport like football or other sport where there is no grade so people are not discouraged when they don't get there belt. It's sad...
So I totaly agree with you. ;-)
My teacher is a wooman, 5th dan, student of Hanshi Yasunari Ishimi, 9th dan Shito Ryu.
