The rebels who started the civil war in Sierra Leone 15 years ago wanted only one thing: to reclaim the richness of the country from foreign corporations in order to end the exploitation of its people. In response, the international community decided to wage a war on this country, with bombs, executions, torture, rigged elections and manipulation of the international media. This created one of the worst humanitarian disasters of the 20th century.

They exploited our resources for their gain and when we asked for independence, they accepted it and place people who dance to their tune as our leaders. They provide ammunition to government to kill anyone who opposes tyrant rule after that they hide their faces behind what they call "international aids" and military interventions to fuel wars in Africa. Neo-Colonialism is what is depriving Africa of peace and economic growth.

The most hurtful thing is issues like this get swept under the carpet,Bosnia,Armenia,Rwanda had to lose so many lives before it captured any "news value". The more infighting in countries like these, the weaker their states become on a domestic and international front. That way, those supplying the weapons from the Western world and getting the concessions stay on top. The video is abominable. It subtly maligns Nigerians who risked their lives for Sieria Leoneans throughout the video. The greedy foreign interests and governments who precipitated the crises receive very little of the blame.
