Defending First Amendment Rights to Bloomberg Security Detail

NYC, Wed. 5/28/09. I went to Cipriani in NYC to confront Mayor Bloomberg about going back on his promise to support medical benefits for 9/11 first responders. What I got was at attempt by Bloomberg security detail to tell me that I do not actually have First Amendment rights. Instead, he wanted to "help" me by taking my name and contact info. No go. I argued for the First Amendment, lamented the recent illegal arrest of Luke Rudowski of We Are Change NY, and asserted that Bloomberg needed to be confronted about this life and death issue.

Thanks for the support. In fact, Bloomberg never showed up to this particular event (It was a celebration of the 40th Anniversary of------of all things----Sesame Street. I do also have a short clip of Brian Williams (NBC News) which I will post this morning.
