Listen I personally do not care. Breast feed in public if you want... I am a female and definitely not afraid of nudity or my body let alone someone elses. All I am saying is, some MEN stare and act silly. Most of the women dont give a shit we understand honey. But why deliberately provoke some of these clowns. If you are going to do it you dont have to be so out with it. I have seen women showing their breast. That is normal but i don't know put the milk in a bottle.

I would like to think that the nourishment of the child I spent nine months carrying takes priority over anyone being uncomfortable because they're skiddish about a booby. If I'm expected to categorize breastfeeding under "taboo," then I guess she suggests I let my Vivs suffer and start wailing in public. Adding a headache to the dreariness of being sleep deprived *inserts angry face*.

They make shirts specifically for breastfeeding anyway, right? Drape a blanket around the shoulders, maybe?

@pattijim2005 And breastmilk is a supply and demand type thing... it's not like a faucet where it just flows freely nonstop. Not to mention a lot of breastfed babies won't take a bottle, then you're stuck with milk that's spoiled after a day of being out because your baby won't drink it and your boob is empty BECAUSE you pumped for fear of offending someone you not only don't know but couldn't care less about.

That's a lot of hassle for nothing at all.

@WonderWomanFan4life I agree about the perverts, BUT people like that will use anything to make their behavior seem like it's warranted. Whether it be a woman breastfeeding, a 13 yr old girl wearing booty shorts, or a woman wearing a skirt.

I myself have NIP numerous times, I just find a quiet spot, not for anyone elses comfort, but for mine. I don't like people staring while i'm trying to get situated. Once i'm situated, my husband can't even tell i'm nursing.

one could also pump it in to a bottle. i am just saying there are some real perverts out there. pulling your big BREAST or small breast out in public to feed a baby who needs to eat is GREAT in a perfect world but there are some screwballs out there who cannot handle it. I wished it was not like that. I really do. Why ask for TROUBLE where it can be avoided thats all i am saying. also it makes people feel uncomfortable. i mean maybe that could be a great project
