@herrdoctorbenway So?? It was still a try that was scored with brilliant vision and skill - refs make errors all the time - I seem to remember a certain RWC final in 2011 when New Zealand were being given the majority of decsisions... just forget he's english and enjoy the rugby!

This was a 2nd string All Black team. John Mitchell left most of the starting team at home to build depth for the RWC in 2003 so this was an experimental side. The better result for England, during this period, was in 2003 when they beat the All Blacks at home. They did this even after being reduced to 13 men at one point. Mitchell eventually had the ABs humming in 2003 (two amazing tri-nation cricket scores) but we never recovered from losing Umaga during the RWC.
