Yeah, I usually do a progressive resistance type of routine and then change my main exercise(s) after reaching my max.

how tall are you? how old? how much you weight when you first started lifting?

I'm almost 5'6" and 25 years old. I weighed around 105 lbs when I first started lifting in high school. Now I'm 175 lbs.
