  • This is bullshit.... here comes the Miami haters in force!!!!!!!

  • @Stealthpanther1 I'm telling you. I've been hearing them all day talking bout they need the Death Penalty. This shit has got to be outside of the NCAA statute of limitations. At least the players and years that mattered. This is one reason why they need to start letting these kids get some form of monetary payment. I"m sick of everyone talking bout they getting a good education. How many college graduates have a job now? These schools are milking these kids dry.

  • Fuck the bullshit! ITS STILL ALL ABOUT THE []_[]. Haters will snitch and snitches will hate.

  • Panther...You think they should get free whores while being recruited as well? That has also been mentioned often too. Just asking.

  • @ProjectPangea True, but for the sake of this commentary we are only referring to college students. It's no secret that people envy college & professional athletes. It's why when something bad happens most of you want nothing but the worst for any of them. I say they need to be paid for their contributions to these universities. Regular students will always hate, but they aren't responsible for bringing notoriety to the universities and generating millions of dollars.

  • @chinatownshuffle Point taken, but last time I checked music artists talk about what they see around. Don't go blaming people like Lil Wayne for the world's problems. And I don't think these young men are 100% innocent, but let's be for real....many of them are recruited to these schools form the inner city because of their sports. talent. If not for that these programs wouldn't give a damn. So I say take the money. There are no guarantees they'll ever get offered it anywhere else.

  • @ProjectPangea I Agree With You On At 100% On That.

  • @HoodRow37 It's not just recent college grads that are out of jobs. i don't know if you've looked around but the economy is in the crapper. Everyone is hurtin' out there.

  • @harvedogx21 the "300" dollars every two weeks or something to that effect would fall under a "full cost of attendance scholarship" which is being bounced around by various university presidents right now. I mentioned that in the third sentence of my initial post. My issue was outright paying these kids some sort of salary.

  • @ProjectPangea 88% of students who play college ball don't make it to the Pros, and 75% students who do graduate and get a "free education" still are out of jobs or are not working or using the degree they want to school for. Why not pay kids for their blood sweat and tears. And I'm not say give them million dollar contracts like your the NFL or NBA but $300 every two weeks won't hurt to give to a student. Please that's not BS THAT IS FACT!!!!

  • @ProjectPangea Yes I've gone to and graduated from college. Yes I know how free education is great for kids. But free education is not going to put food in your stomach, clothes on your back, or go a have fun. Yes free education is a plus but when you cash in on kids with ticket sells, Big TV contracts, merchandise, selling their jerseys. I called modern day exploitation THE COACHES, SCHOOLS and NCAA are making money off the kids.

  • @HoodRow37 What? Do they need extra QUON$ to get prostitutes and booze on a weekly basis? I think their should be some incentive for "Behavior" and "Performance" which is awarded at graduation - AND NOWHERE ELSE. After you peel back the onion, you will see that most of these "Adults" come from poor, disadvantaged surroundings and just don't know how to act in the D-1 or other environment. Having the slime culture of Lil' Wayne out there singing about hoes, drugs & guns doesn't help.
