When the smallmouth bass are beat up this will get you lots of bites and bass! A very good bass fisherman showed me this once and I works great for spawning small mouth bass and largmouth bass when the bite is slow or cool water times

  • I got a question for you! Personality wise, what's the difference between the bass guys and the walleye guys?

  • @captainpegs07 A fisherman is a fisherman. Most bass fishermen do not keep the fish. most Walleye fishermen do. Bass fishermen can have an ego walleye fishers are just regular joes. Walleye is a little boring. bass are harder to cast to and you need better skills to be good at bass fishing. just my 2 cents:)

  • Wow...I did that when I used to fish for rainbow trout. That was a couple of years when i was a wee pup. I'm a little older now and live in PA but and stationed at Fort Meade. So Roger...Where exactly do you live? I used to live in WA and fished the Snake and Columbia river all the time.

  • @Malo509 I live in Portland oregon. I fish lakes around portland, in Oregon and Washington. I get tons of bass out of the Columbia River and local lakes.

  • Great vid! I will definitely try this soon! What size hook were you using? And is it important if you put a weight on the senko? If it is, Is it a split shot or sliding sinker?

Hope you can answer these questions! Thanks a lot man!

  • @TheFishingfreak12 I use a Gamikatsu EWG hook in size 2 (not 2/0) and for drop shot and wacky rigs I use a size 5 Octapus hook.

  • @bowman6611 I'll thumb this up when I see him set hook on a dinosaur, very informative videos though.

  • @TheCountrystuff13 The best rod for you is from 6' 6" to 7' 6". If you are tall you need a longer rod if you are shorter you need a little shorter rod. If you you fish from shore you may need a 6' 6" rod to fish aroun brush, If you fish from a boat a longer rod like 7' 6" would be good. Look for a fast and light weight and sensitive rod for finnesse fishing!
