Assault Cube Map (MARCH MADNESS) a level design tutorial

A guide to an ASSAULT CUBE map I made called MARCH MADNESS and a level design tutorial about a new kind of map layout I call a "bracket map." It is designed for capture the flag play. Players make their way thru a NCAA tournament style Bracket of hallways before coming to a main room where four different bracket stem meet. From there players fight their way to a tunnel in the center of the room that will take them to the flag room. The Flag room is a basketball court room with a flag by each basket; in this room players can score many points quickly and scores will end up more like basket ball then capture the flag.

The bracket style map (for CAPTURE THE FLAG)
1. forces players to play towards the center for constant action
2. makes for interesting game play that isn't repetitive
3. works best with 5 or more players per team
4. as gameplay progresses the map will create a unique experience each time you play thru a different set of opponents in different positions with a different number of allies coming from different parts of the map every time.
5. the map also has choke points where you can group up with team members to storm the flag room or protect team members all ready in the flag room.
6. a dynamic map with plenty of opportunity for teamwork tactics and strategy

MAP THEMES March madness bracket style tournament, nuclear meltdown, irish, basketball, and the Man With the Golden Gun.

This map also has sound effects you can't hear in this video as I recorded it using "Capture Me" which only records 30 frames a second and is why this map looks skippy in this video. The map meets the requistes to play on the latest servers and you can send me a message if you would like me to email it to you.
