Britain's Eurovision anchor Terry Wogan said the victory of Russian singer Dima Bilan in the song contest in Belgrade was politically motivated and has called for a change in the competition's rules.

No, he resigns because there is no such things as a fair vote anymore. Scandanavia votes amongst itself, Germany and Turkey exchange niceties every year, the Eastern Block keep it in the family, the former USSR the same.

The Eurovision has always been a joke, but when you can predict the result before hand (as we all did in 2008) it seems a bit pointless having the thing at all!

With regard to the alleged subterfuge within the ESC voting system, anyone interested in a full and frank analysis, please put "Why the Eurovision bloc voting theory is bogus" into a Google search, and all will be explained.

Terry Wogan is a Pied Piper who plays a nice tune - but it isn't one any of us with a mind going on would be well advised to follow.

Whats so funny is that the whole of europe really take this event seriously. It shows just how sad they are. We send our worst and most laughable musicians there on purpose. I think its time to send them Cliff Fucking Richard. That twat will go down well with the tasteless Europeans. When i was in Russia they just couldn't understand why i thought the event to be the biggest pile of shit in history. To them it was like the Olympics or something bigger.
