Amy Lees version sounds more goth, and Fiona Apple's version sounds more emo

I prefer this version, honestly. She doesn't sound bored, she sounds very depressed. Sorrowful, mournful. It's lovely. The way she sings, it's like...magic.

I'm really torn on this version of the song.
On the one hand, I don't like Apple's vocals at all. No offense to her fans, I'm sure she's done some great stuff, but here, she doesn't sound sad or lonely the way Sally's supposed to; she sounds bored.
On the other hand, I LOVE the background music for this version, especially the strings and drums.

I love how romantically somber it is.

I prefer this version because of you can hear the emotion coming from her voice. Also the subject matter is very similar to Fiona Apple's own, which is probably why it sounds so pretty

soo much better than amy lee !!!! That sound´s ... magical ...

I think that this version is fit for something that Sally would sing and a Nightmare Before Christmas song. I think that the beginning of this version is interesting and really neat.

Pfft, Amy Lee has no emotion in her songs. They all sound the same. At least Fiona Apple tries to put a spin on her's.

Fionna has been my favorite since shadow boxer. But I gotta say I love Amy lees voice more than any voice i have ever heard. But Fiona definitely makes this song way more likable.

Esta cancion es exactament como me siento...,,,,,('n')

Yes, I agree. Amy Lee is too operetic in my opinion but still a skilled singer.

at first I didn't like this version - but now I have a better respect for it; her voice really conveys sorrow, which is what the song should portray
