Fact that Pittbull owners will NEVER share with the public: While they will say the Pittbull has a higher score on the Temperament Testing Society's scores, Self Protective/Aggressive Behavior, Threatening, and Aggression scores (30% of total) depend COMPLETELY on whether the dog was "Schutzhund trained". The Pitt owner simply says it was, and aggression of ANY KIND is considered a "trained" behaviour. The Pom owner who's dog barks at the "threat" will fail. The Pitt who lunges and snaps passes.

I respect that you have an educated opinion, and whoever marked this as spam was wrong to do so. Heated topics such as this always have two sides, and I appreciate that you have researched the "opposing" side and have shared them with us so passionately. @MensaMeme We have a scoller here folks...lets give her a hand. Pitbulls make poor guard or attack dogs so why would anyone train one in schutzhund. It all falls under irresponsible owners. My overly socialized and fully trained apbt would probably pass that test with a 99% if not a 100%. Lunging and snapping, none existant in my girl. Well maybe when im holding her favorite rope. Wise up assumptions are not welcome here.

i agree with meekus. but you have to prove the dog was shutzhund trained, by producing a tittle, and SOME pit bulls will be shutzhund trained, but so will some dogs of any other breed. and even shutzhund dogs are ONLY alloweds to lunge if the strange is being threatening agressive. believe i replied to this comment, on another vid
