How To Make a MOD For Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge

Download the XCC files here:
http://xhp.xwis.net/utilities/XCC_Utilities.exe
Then Open the XCC Mixer and Click File the select Open. From here go to the RA2 Directory which is located most often in:
Program files\Westwood\RA2
Program files\EA Games\The First Decade\Red alert 2(TM)\RA2
And select ExpandMD01 and open it. Inside is several files but What I am going to teach you today is the simple part of modding. Select the Rulesmd.ini and save it somewhere you will remember. Open it with notepad (should open with notepad automaticly) and change values to what you desire, Read things carefully and change the values. I do not recemond making any new weapons or units yet. Get the feel of changing values first... Check out the weapons (listed as primary under units and buildings) and press CTRL + F and look for the primary to change it, simply making up a name under the unit will not do.

@timmy591 No idea. Try changing compatibility, security, etc under properties of whatever program is giving you problems.
