this is our first attempt to build a permanent magnets generator, the axial flux type.
we used 3 plexiglass disks for the rotor, 16 round N45 magnets from www.supermagnete.de, and realised one coil (just one by now!) of 0,9mm copper wire.
the rotor supporting structure is incomplete, waiting for a lazy susan bearing (http://www.woodcraft.com/Product/2001061/570/Lazy-Susan-3-516-Thick-Capacity-20­0-lbs.aspx).
soon we will connect this pmg generator to our vawt windmill.
