Actually, I'm in Toronto and know the Johnson family quite well. Nina never mentioned Vancouver, that's interesting to know, thanks. I'll have to tease her next week about the accent she's picked up. They are coming up on the weekend.
For anyone else reading this, Grady is opening for Sloan on July 23 at BMO field in Toronto. Free, all-ages show as part of the soccer all star game festivities.

I love Grady, I love Gordie and this song is one of my favorite songs ever but man Gordie's voice is sounded pretty haggard. It makes me sad. I am hoping he just has a cold or something and that it's not permanent. They sounded great back in April when I saw them in Halifax he sounded much better, Must be a cold.

Got to check out GRADY live for your selves.
I'm thinking it's the way I filmed it cause if you click on my name & listen to What's Happening Baby-#10 Gordie is singing high pitch & if he had a cold he probably wouldn't be able to hit those notes. Or maybe due to the volatile down pour of rain that was on it's way, the changing of the wind blowing around and me not standing closer to the amps.
All said & done Grady delivers!

Great videos, but they aren't an all Canadian band. Much as we love Nina and would love to adopt her up here, she's a true Texan.
