is it just me, or does faddis get his ass handed to him by ulf wakenius? faddis plays high notes and dizzy's licks, and then ulf goes on and plays melodically and floats over / anticipates the changes like cannonball.

... hundreds of trumpetplayers would play better lines with better sound than him but he is able to play his lines up there and that's what people admire. he could play anything there, it's just testosteron, like people drive ferraris and lift weights. i personally prefer something else but it's ok with me ...
