  • excuse me but where was lydbrook.

  • @InbredSlayer The flight took one hour, which, at the time, I had to edit into 10 minutes.

  • That was lovely....(you must get the helicopter driver to put on some softer tyres)

  • @steveavery77 Thank you Steve(?). It was difficult to film as I had to hold the camera to the window, about 10 inches above my lap, with no support other than elbows. I'm hoping to do it again some time soon with the door off, so that I can support the camera on my lap.

  • went there on holiday with my school frankland junior hoddesdon to wye valley for a week back in good ole july 1976 great place great times fab memories cant remember the hotel we stayed at i know it was on a sort of mountain side and the boys chalets were on a high hill separate from the hotel wonder if it still there.

  • @BROADTRAIN1979 Sorry for the very late reply but I've only just seen this. It may have been at Hay-on-Wye as I didn't live in this area when I was at school but the schools in our area used to go there, to a house called Truern House.

  • Beautiful part of the world, could you make another aerial video flying over Hereford and Bodenham where I use to live.Smashing video.

  • Thanks Mike. This is a remake of the film I shot earlier in the year because I wasn't happy with the original. It was shot through the glass but I am going up again in the future with the door off. Won't be hanging outside though!!!! It is a little shakey, because no mater how smoothly the aircraft is flown, the engine causes the craft to vibrate. With the door off, I will be able to hold the camera at a more comfortable angle to compensate.

  • Hi Alan, Like that music, did you get to hang out of the door for filming ?
