The G string issues have in my experience more to do with the nut than the tuners,
If you go through the nut slots with a pencil everything should be fine

@Guitarvirtuoso666 your right, that's usually the best solution and easiest! It helps strats stay in tune especially with a standard bridge..

Respond to this video... the epi's are a lot more affordable, though. just a warning; the custom shop V's don't always come with a great set-up out of the box (they're great guitars if you find "the one") cheers!
