um, i'm sure this train was at a much better at 80 mph, than regular trains doing 80 mph, becuse of the rockets,,,,who in the fuck was this trying to impress because of the rockets? (besides idiots) was this film made during the 'convoy' trucking years?

BTW, if you want to wind a locomotive up to 80 mph, your choices are to build several miles of track, or strap rockets to the thing. Gonna cost a lot either way ... I'm betting they had the rockets on hand, or got them for free from the obsolete Nike program.

you only need 1/2 a mile for an unloaded engine .... easy to verify on web under train acceleration rates
